The dutyofcare.com software is provided in two parts.
- a web browser based system to allow your employees to manage & maintain their own
personal information, their privately owned vehicle information and plan/complete
journey logs. This system will also allow your employees to view any company related
documentation that you wish them to read.
- a Microsft Windows based desktop application that allows your managers to maintain
information on all your company employees and vehicles as well as company specific
information. View all employee journey logs and risk assessment results. Many reports
are also available showing company/employee/vehicle and journey details as well
as a full audit trail report, showing you who changed what and when.
The browser based employee system requires that you have one of the latest web browsers
available, including Internet Explorer 7, Firefox, Opera and Safari to operate.
The browser you choose must also allow cookies, have javascript enabled and not
block popups to the dutyofcare.com web site.
The Business Manager Software is designed to run on Microsoft based operating systems
only.
To be able to run the software, the requirement are as follows:-
- Windows 2000, XP, Vista
- PC with minimum 512 mb of RAM
- PC with at least 200 mb of free hard disk space
- Broadband Internet speed of minimum 1Mb
There are other requirements, but these will be installed upon running the software.
The above requirements are a minimum specification, and therefore software performance
will be at a minimum.
