Ignoring this Legislation is not an option

If your company permits employees to drive on COMPANY BUSINESS, no matter how trivial the journey, in their own private vehicles or in vehicles provided by Cash for Car schemes then your company is subject to the Duty of Care legislation applying to employees driving on Company Business.

An incident involving one of your employees driving any vehicle on company business will result in immediate police attention. This will take the form of a detailed investigation into all of your policies and procedures. This could result in MASSIVE financial penalties for your company or even a custodial sentence for Director/Directors if any non-compliance of the legislation is proven.

Ask yourself the following:

  • Do your policies and procedures currently in place for company vehicles extend to privately owned vehicles?
  • Are they fully managed in compliance with the Duty of Care Legislation?

If not, dutyofcare.com will undertake to ensure that all such policies and procedures will comply with the Legislation.
